In order to enjoy and make the most out of you stay with us, there are a few things you need to know…
ON BOOKINGS
- Campsite check-in time is from 1pm-7pm.
- We appreciate there are occasionally later arrivals, and can accommodate these.
- Check-out time from the campsite is 11am.
- If you wish to stay another night – we welcome this – subject to availability.
- If you arrive without a booking, please check availability through our website first and book. See cromartycamping.com
- If you do not have a booking, please do not enter the site and take a reserved pitch.
- Maximum vehicle length is 8M.
- Vehicles any longer than 8M are NOT permitted to enter the site; as there is not adequate provision for the parking or turning vehicles of this length and access will be blocked in the event of an emergency.
ON DOGS
- Well behaved dogs are very welcome – up to 2 per vehicle – but must be kept on a lead at all times.
- Exercise off-lead on the site is forbidden at all times, in the interest of other visitors.
- Please ensure you bag and bin any dog waste.
ON FIRE
- Barbecues and camping stoves are permitted on areas of zoned hardstanding only.
- No barbecues or stoves on grass or near vegetation or woodland for fire risk.
- NO campfires or open fires – at any time – on the campsite or the beach.
- Our site is set out to keep vehicles parked at a safe distance from each other to reduce fire risk / spread at all times; please respect these.
- Do not make fire bridges – with awnings etc – between neighbouring vehicles.
- Locally – in the event of an emergency – fire fighting kit is held on site, but always phone 999 as the first responder.
ON NOISE & PARTYING & ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
- Our campsite is situated at the edge of the town, and a residential area. We are grateful to have the support and understanding of our neighbours and the wider community.
- To be clear we are NOT a party site; if you look to party -into the wee small hours – we are not the site for you.
- Please keep noise levels respectful at all times but especially between 10pm and 7am when there should be no noise.
- Guests who fail to adhere to the guidelines on noise, partying or anti social behaviour will be asked to leave immediately without refund.
- Misuse of or damage caused to the building or services will be proportionally charged.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person at any time.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children must be supervised by a responsible adult in all areas of the campsite at all times.
ON LIABILITY
- When you make a booking at Cromarty Camping you accept these terms and conditions and agree to be responsible for any loss or damage caused by any person or animal in your group.
- Cromarty Community Development Trust will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the property of any customer, including personal belongings, cash, jewellery and motor vehicles, however caused.
- Cromarty Camping reserves the right to alter any of the Terms and Conditions at any time.
DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY
- If your plans change and you request to come on a different date then we will always try to accommodate your change, but we cannot guarantee that your request can be met.
- Our cancellation policy at 15 days or more in advance of your arrival date = Bookings can be cancelled and a full refund will be made.
- Our cancellation policy between 8-14 days of your arrival date = Bookings can be cancelled and 50% of the booking cost will be refunded.
- Our cancellation policy within 7 days of your arrival date = Bookings can be cancelled, but no refund will be made.
- You will be charged the full amount of your booking if you fail to come to the campsite, or if you leave the campsite early due to weather conditions, failure of your equipment, or any reason not within the control and responsibility of the campsite, or if you cancel or change your booking less than 8 days before your date of arrival.
